Photographer David Stastny’s work is also on display at Bittersweet. He enjoys photographing anything vintage, NW regional landscapes and humming birds.

Leslie Cronkhite Armstrong – Armstrong has been an art instructor and designed art curriculum for over 25 years. Her work includes pieces done in oils, pencil, ink, acrylic, watercolor and silk-screened prints. A few of her featured works include Carousel Horses in the Wild, Fauve Cat and Spanish Sidewalk. Joanne Montzingo – Always with a camera in hand, Kent photographer Montzingo enjoys finding beauty and visual treasures in the small details of life. Her pieces at Bittersweet this month feature the delights of nature including lavendar at a farmer’s market, a bold seagull, the beach as seen through a concrete diamond. Contact Montzingo for more information about her work.
Deborah Gronholz – Featuring pieces done in oils and watercolors, Gronholz’s work brings out the vibrant colors of everyday life including everyting from Poppies and Tulips to umbrellas and boots in The Storm. The Storm is a colorful, whimsical display of six children dancing in the rain. The piece bears this caption, “Life isn’t about getting through the storm, but learning to dance in the rain.”

Thanks for your comment, Tami. We didn’t own Bittersweet then, so I can’t explain why it was closed. We are now open 7 days a week for breakfast and lunch from 8 am to 4 pm. We hope you’ll give us another try!
